A rough translation xD,
Hamada: I was really anxious… It was during the time I was shooting a drama. On that day… The day before, it was my birthday, so I went out for drinks with friends and had some fun. The next day, I had filming, and when I woke up, I realized that I hadn’t charged my phone… [Nakai: The battery had died.] I was late for about 3 hours.
Nakai: What drama? What drama was it?
Hamada: It was a drama that Kimura Takuya-san starred in…
Hamada: The one where he was acting with Shinohara Ryoko-san…
Hamada: I thought, “It’s over[for me].”
Nakai: It’s over, isn’t it?
Hamada: My manager knocked on the door of my house… Without changing clothes, he just put me in the car. While applying make up - from the makeup room, you would be able to see the entrance to the set, using the mirror - at that time, Kimura-san and Shinohara-san were having a terrible fight.
Tsurube: That is scary.
Hamada: Kimura-san was like, “It’s unthinkable!” And, Shinohara-san, who chased after him was like, “When you were young, there were times when such a thing happened too!”
Audience: [mixture of shock and laughter]
Hamada: I thought, “Ah~ Because of me, the atmosphere has become like this…” When I went to apologize to everyone, Kimura-san was like, “Don’t you have something to say to everyone?” And, I was like, “Yes. I’m sorry for causing trouble for everyone.” I didn’t know what to do in that [tense] atmosphere… Then, Kimura-san went, “I can’t work like this!” and he stormed off the set, followed by Shinohara-san, who went to stop him. When they came back in, they were dressed in “dokkiri” costumes, wearing helmets and holding a sign that said, “Dokkiri! Happy Birthday!”
Hamada: But, yeah… It was really… It wasn’t a case of “ame to muchi” , but my emotions were in a complete mess.
Tsurube: Of course, it would be in a mess.
Hamada: I was so scared…
Nakai: I wouldn’t do such a thing.
Hamada: Yes, I’ll be careful. It won’t happen again.
Nakai: Kimura-kun is basically the gentle/kind-type.
Tsurube: Yes, he is.
Nakai: He will use humour to connect with people/put people at ease. I will really get annoyed.
IVAN: That’s cool! I like that! Please bully me more!
Nakai: But, really, being late…
“Dokkiri” - A hidden-camera prank played on unsuspecting people.
“Ame to muchi” - A Japanese idiom with a similar meaning to the English “carrot and stick” approach of reward and punishment. For more information, here’s a link to the Wikipedia page explaining it in more detail: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrot_and_stick
